Wood Signs By Me is currently looking for self-motivated, dependable, and friendly individuals to join our traveling DIY Wood Sign Workshops Instructors team! We are currently looking for instructors in and around the Bettendorf, IA area to teach our DIY Wood Sign Workshops.
Our workshops are held during evenings and weekends so you must be available then!! We host these public events at local bars and restaurants in the area and also offer private party events, team building events, and fundraising events.
If you're looking for a job that is fun and doesn't feel like work this may be for you!! Each workshop lasts about 3 hours plus setup and clean up time.
During the workshop you will teach customers how to stain their sign, then put their stencil on their project, then paint on their design and then remove the stencil.
We offer flexible schedules, you pick when you work and how often.
We also offer competitive pay.
You will earn 15-20% commission on sales from your workshops.
That means for a 10 person workshop (10 customers attending) you can earn around $144 from one workshop.
If you have 20 customers attend your workshop you can earn around $288 from one workshop! This is a great position for someone looking for a part-time job where you can make some real money and have fun at the same time.
We handle all of the prep of all the materials and deliver them to you prior to the workshop.
No experience required, we will train you!!! We use stencils so you don't have to be an artist to teach a workshop! Must be a people person and be able to work independently!
