St.
Ambrose University Occupational Therapy Department welcomes applicants to apply for adjunct faculty opportunities in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program.
Successful candidates may teach in a variety of courses depending upon their clinical expertise.
Practitioners with a background in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility, and involvement in interprofessional teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching and working with students, which may include experience serving as a fieldwork coordinator.
Candidates must be credentialed as an Occupational Therapist having graduated from an accredited entry-level program.
All candidates must be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching will further enhance the candidate's application.
Responsibilities of this position include teaching didactic, lab or simulated learning situations.
