- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience: - Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Skills: - Brake repair experience is highly desired.
- Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
- Customer service skills are essential for interacting with customers effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
- Proficiency in using power tools and other automotive repair equipment.
