As an intern, not only will you gain valuable hands-on experience, but you will also play an active role in the creation of real-life products.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This internship promises a dynamic and hands-on experience that will provide invaluable insights into the world of product development and marketing.
Collaboration and Insight:
Engage with internal, cross-functional teams, utilize internal tools and conduct store visits to gather insights to influence product development.
Market Analysis:
Conduct a thorough review of the competitive ecommerce landscape and create comprehensive proposal outlining recommendations for future online product listings.
Cause Marketing Exploration:
Research and analyze external Cause Marketing programs, proposing initiatives that resonate with the brand and KENT® Corporation’s core values.
While our initial focus lies in the areas mentioned above, be prepared for other exciting possibilities:
Consumer Data: Help influence the development of our product launch through the creation and analysis of consumer surveys
Sales Pitch: Help craft compelling sales pitches that highlight the unique value proposition of our upcoming product.
Launch Support: Investigate product claims, providing detailed insights that will directly impact our go-to-market strategy.
EDUCATION:
Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research or Business with Marketing focus
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
Comfortable working independently when needed
Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of a minimum of two marketing related classes
