Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Moline Function: Administrative / Clerical Title: Administrative Assistant - 104863 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As an Administrative Assistant at John Deere Computer Center in Moline, Illinois, you will provide administrative support to our VP & Global IT Directors.
In addition, you will: Coordinate general office administration duties for the IT & Cyber Security organization Provide event & global travel planning support for executives Handle access to sensitive and confidential information Coordinate meeting arrangements with internal personnel and various off-site location coordinators Develops and maintains key documentation for the Global IT organization Maintain files, records, and databases Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
What Skills You Need Keen ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks, and to prioritize work as things arise Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Critical capability to handle sensitive and confidential information Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Knowledge of operating standard office equipment (examples: photocopier, fax machine, telephone) Clerical expertise (examples: typing, collating, filing, stenography, etc) What Makes You Stand Out Represent IT organization in a positive, professional manner at all times Proficient skills in proactive planning and organizing Experience working in a large organization Experience providing administrative support to executives Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Degree or certification in an Administrative/Clerical discipline What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
