Expanding dental office and sleep clinic in search of a part time motivated dental assistant.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Must hold a current Iowa Dental Assistant License
* The person needs to be kind, energetic, professional, have a positive attitude and be highly motivated.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, computer skills, great time management, and a willingness to learn.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Assist the dentist/hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, including setup and turnover of rooms.
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines.
* Proficient in taking radiographs.
* Take/review patients’ medical history and vitals.
* Educate and follow up with pre/post op instructions following dental/sleep appointments.
* Complete all chart notes and sleep notes in multiple software programs (training on our software provided).
* Scan patients using a digital scanner (training provided).
* Maintain the office and help to ensure our space stays clean and safe for our patients and team.
* Assist the front office team with administrative tasks as delegated.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Hours include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8am-2pm; and Friday 8am-12pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.
