Summary/Objective
The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for all accounts payable duties, reconciling corporate credit cards, purchasing, fixed asset coordination, and assist with accounting related projects.
Must be driven and motivated, with a willingness to learn multiple systems and improve efficiencies in the current process.
Essential Functions

Process and track all agency reimbursement reports
Adhere to firm weekly, monthly, and yearly deadlines
Facilitate payment to vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, receipt of federal W-9, review vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
Responsible for all centralized purchasing duties for TPQC staff
Administer the monthly credit card statement process which includes balancing bank to statement transactions, assisting card holders with issues, and confirming payments are made
Complete month end account reconciliations on positions-related accounts.
Track and coordinate the purchase of capital projects and maintain the fixed asset depreciation schedule
Manage an accurate and current contract database by including new documents, notifying leaders of expiring agreements, and verifying payments match contract.
Support Director of Finance with the preparation of federal, state, agency, and annual external audits.
Coordinate building maintenance needs with outside contractors
Monitor supply inventory and re-orders
Acts as a liaison between staff and IT consultants when critical issues arise
Assist with administrative responsibilities
Other related duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel with the ability to learn other accounting software
Reliable with ability maintain confidential information
Must be able to multitask between daily work and projects.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organization and strong attention to detail

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Both standing and sitting are required.
Various types of equipment/supplies are used to accomplish the job requirements and include, but are not limited to, calculators, computer keyboards, telephone, printers, scanner, copier etc.
The employee may be required to lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position.
While normal hours of work for TPQC are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.

, but hours for this position may vary.
Working flexibly is available after 6 months of initial training
Travel
No overnight travel is expected for this position
Required Education and Experience
An associate degree in the accounting field with 5 years of experience
Preferred Education and Experience
A 4-year degree in an accounting or related field with 1 year of experience
